Emerge Is a counseling center based In Akron, Ohio providing compassionate, Bible based, and Spirit empowered mental health care. I enjoyed participating in this ministry. Most of the other 24 board members were leaders In the Assembly of God denomination. Dr. Richard Dobbins was a great help to me and Mary Nell in understanding the Bi-polar mental health of our son Ed.

Once during the 27 years I served on the board at Emerge, the assistant director (Ed) came to visit me at 1319 Mirror Terrace. I provided the funds for his new office in Akron when the Emerge Ministries office building was constructed.

Nov 2, 2001, my term at Emerge Ministries as a board member expired. Resolution 01-3 expressed gratitude for my over 15 years of service. Below is a copy of the letter.
